Industry Leaders, Rising Professionals, Legendary Broadcasters, and Live Music Come Together for One of BFOA’s Networking Events

New York, NY – May 27, 2026 – The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) will bring the industry together once again for its highly anticipated Media Mixer -– an outreach event in support of the BFOA’s charitable mission -- on Thursday, June 25, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM ET at the New York City studios of iHeartMedia, located at 125 West 55th Street.

Known as one of broadcasting’s premier networking events, the BFOA Media Mixer connects emerging professionals with some of the most influential executives and personalities in broadcasting, while also shining a spotlight on the BFOA’s charitable mission of providing critical financial assistance to broadcasters in need.

The event will feature legendary radio executive Dan Mason, who will meet attendees and share insights from his remarkable career in broadcasting from behind the microphone to the head of the CBS Radio. Mason is also the author of Fearless: The Life & Times of A Media Maverick. The evening will be hosted by Maxwell, who is heard in New York on KTU during afternoon drive, and will also include a live performance by Carolina Rial, fresh off her appearance on The Voice.

“The Broadcasters Foundation’s Media Mixers have become one of the most important gatherings for the future of our industry, bringing together rising broadcast professionals, influential executives, and legendary broadcasters in one room,” said Tim McCarthy, President of the Broadcasters Foundation. “Broadcasting is built on relationships, mentorship, and community, and this event captures the very best of what makes our business so special while also supporting broadcasters facing critical need.”

The BFOA Media Mixer series has become a must-attend event for professionals across the broadcasting industry, with previous gatherings held in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
