Dear Fellow Broadcaster:
The BROADCASTERS Foundation of America is launching a new program to develop greater corporate involvement in the mission of the organization. BROADCASTERS Foundation of America Angels provides an exciting opportunity for radio and television group broadcasters to bring each operating station within a company to support the foundation's mission.
Your corporate commitment to the BROADCASTERS Foundation of America Angel program will signify to all of your employees that your company is committed to giving back to the industry by supporting our mission of helping colleagues who are in need.
Requests for help coming in to the foundation are growing dramactically. In order to keep up with the increase in requests for assistance and for the foundation to be in a position to never deny any legitimate request for help, we are asking your company to become a BROADCASTERS Foundation of America Angel.
Our wish is to get all broadcasting companies involved and we hope that your company will take a leadership role.
Each station in your group will receive a plaque denoting Angel membership status with the BROADCASTERS Foundation of America and would also receive the BROADCASTERS Foundation of America magazine On The Air. All Angel participants will be recognized in all foundation publications at the Annual Golden Mike Award, BROADCASTERS Foundation of America Celebrity Golf Tournament, and the BROADCASTERS Foundation of America NAB Golf Tournament and at the annual Broadcast Pioneers Breakfast at the NAB.
